hello,
i know the older Small Clones used BBD circuitry and were analog.how about the new reissues? BBD circuitry? and what IC chips do they use now? is the tone comparable to the older ones? is the circuit still a simple design? does anyone have a pic of the inside of the reissue?
thanks in advance.
The reissues use the same delay IC as the originals, the MN3007.
not that i dont believe you but are you 100% positive? even the brand new ones? if so i will be ordering one as soon as you answer. i just thought all the old Panasonic MN chips were gone?
You can always email info@ehx.com and find out for sure. Post your findings here.
I’m sure mines got MN3007 in it and its a RI.
thanks, can you check to be sure? how new is it?
i was emailed by EH support and they confirmed the reissue classic small clone chorus Does in fact have the MN 3007 chip.
maybe thats why Analog man doesnt sell those on his website? he uses the MN 3007 chip in his clone chorus pedals.he sells everything else EH but those.
Its about 3 years old.
