I fried my C9 by plugging it into a 9V [strong][em]AC[/em][/strong] adapter. :down: I bought it used and only had it one day. I’m very, very sad, but it was my fault.

I’m comfortable with soldering, but all of these newer units use surface mount technology (SMT) which makes them difficult to mod or fix at home. :long:

I’ve sent a note to info@ehx.com to see if there are any out-of-warranty knucklehead support options. Now, I’m just praying that I didn’t end up unintentionally modding my C9 into a very expensive doorstop. :gulp:
