I have a missing battery housing screw on my BMP. Who sells them?
Thanks
Mark
Take it to the hardware store and find one that fits man……its just a screw and there’s not really a market for “replacement big muff battery door screws” LOL
The hardwarestore will have what you need for sure.
I saw the title and thought he was interested in a trade! :nono:
You’re pretty darn sick, dude… 😆
😆
That’s a real addiction
AFAIK the case screws (at least on the old ones) are 4 x 1/4 PH PHL Self Tap screws 18-8 SS
Mouser has them
MSC part# 87923009
…or your local hardware store (but not mine apparently…I had to buy a bunch off ebay)
Hmm, I though the topic name would have implied hetosexuality?
Well there you go?
The local hardware store is Bunnings who are generally crap. There is a local place which sells fasteners, but I’d have to buy $10 worth of screws, with either a flat or phillips head.
I think one can buy a replacement battery housing screw for a RAT pedal.
Getting back to the BMP, I thought that it would be quite common for the battery housing screw to get lost. It is a specialized screw as it has to have a knurled head to allow battery changes without tools I thought someone would sell it?
Is it possible that BMP users are more anally retentive than RAT users as they don’t lose housing screws?
Thanks
Mark
…. it’s not a ‘specialist’ screw (like a rat) it’s just a regular self tapping cross head screw.
Thanks for all the replies, much appreciated. I think it should have a screw or something that allows a guitarist/roadie who’s had a few beers to quickly change batteries.
