While we’re on the subject, I just rewired the 3pdt switch and it is all working very well. However, I get a slighy popping from when the switch is operated, when the LED pulls current when being turned on. There are two solutions:

    1) Add a cap and reistor: http://www.muzique.com/lab/led.htm

    2) Rewire so that it is always grounded http://www.dazatronyx.com/support/true-bypass-technique.pdf (bottom right)

Which would you say is the ‘proper’ way of doing it?

    Cheers”

    Either should be fine.

Hey there, first time posting and this board looks like it is the right place to ask!

I’ve got a black Russian big muff that I am looking to add a power supply to.
I’m new to using a soldering gun but figure this would be a good starter project.

I’ve attached photos of my pedal.

Any links or help is greatly appreciated!

That’s all covered earlier in this thread.

I have a Black Russian Big Muff Pi (4-screw) and I am am also wanting to connect an AC adapter. I have three 9V adapters/transformers with mA outputs of 100mA, 1000mA, & 1.2A, respectively. Which of these is optimum for my pedal, or is 200mA best?

    100mA is perfectly fine.
