So, the Phase 45 cuts out on occasion, until I touch the jacks. Must be a grounding issue of some sort. Maybe that’s why there is duct tape on the inside cover and some gauze around the board. It’s a shame. I may have to send it out for repair, because this thing is slowly earning a spot next to my Small Stone. As far as the knobs go, the new MXR knobs don’t fit. The shaft is too thick.

are they set-screw type or push on? I think you would need the former.

The newer ones are push on, but the newer MXR pots have thinner shafts. Here is a comparison pic:

yeah, you need the old screw fix type.. it shouldn’t be a problem to get those, I could link you to some but they would be in the UK/europe.

They sound great with my rig. I don’t really want to flip them like I originally planned.

I have that problem all the time too… :D

That’s what I was gonna try to fund with these, but I think I am going to have to just save the funds.

Just an update to this post. The Phase 45 works perfectly now. I wrapped the board in foam and problem solved. The DOD is in need of a new switch, making it a great oppurtunity to add a 3DPT switch and the Roland…OMG! This pedal is a tone monster and is probably my most used pedal lately. Very different from my Muffs. It is a Distortion pedal through and through. Not that fuzzy. Great for punk to metal. I MUST have another. I wish somebody made a clone of this pedal, because I would buy 5!

If you like the BeeGee, try a BeeBaa or a Double Beat. You’ll like it.

I’d like to, but those prices are even higher. I would like to find some accurate clones to try before I spend my way to the couch…if you know what I mean.
