Hi Everyone! Where would you place the Ring Thing in the effect-chain?
Thanks!
what is your effects chain?
on the left output channel of the 2880, before the tremolo

I’d place it before modulation and filters AND after pitch shifting.
Although if you’ve got some really resonant filters, placing it after them can have very interesting effects.
So generally, place it the same way you’d place fuzz for the most normal (relatively speaking of course) configuration.
But there’s a million different way to order your pedals, so experiment!
I have mine after my Boss DD5 delay and before my Hazarai. I use the DD5’s 2 second sample/hold to make a short loop then shift it to a different key with the ring thing. I can then loop a key change into the Hazarai. Been working for me in terms of arranging song structures and not just static loops.
THANKS for your answers! als julian says > it’s a question of experiment
