GOAL: I want to mod my Ravish pedal by adding remote footswitches to it.

The pedal has two foot switches on it; a momentary switch and a toggle switch. I want to build a footswitch to operate these two controls remotely. The idea is to get the main box off the floor within arms reach but still be able to control it with my feet.

I want to leave the original function of the pedal unaltered so that the built in switches still work. But when the external box is connected it can duplicate the function of the footswitches.

The basic plan of attack is to splice into the wiring within the box and wire it to some sort of connection on the side of the case that will allow me to plug in an external box with a couple of foot switches that can go on the floor.

I am not sure where to tie into and what to connect, but I am guessing that many on this forum have already been down this road. Could someone please provide information on which wires I would tie into to attach remote switches?

I have included a reference photo of the current innards and a simple diagram of the goal.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry we can not recommend any mods to our pedals.

I can understand that you as a company would not recommend or warranty mods. But can you provide me with pinout info on the switches so I can figure it out myself?

Or hopefully a knowledgeable user/forum reader can make some recommends.

Did you ever get this fixed? It might be easier to add expression pedal jacks to the aspects you want to control, then you can make adjustments with your feet.
