Hi, I have the wonderful Lester G pedal in my pedal board fx running via my fx send and return in my Mesa Transatlantic 30 cmbo. When activated there is a lot of background swirl which is am sure just a characteristic of the pedal. I have checked all cables, fx s&r versus straight in, power and chain set up and it’s still there. Am guessing I will need a noise gate pedal to sort his out…..Anyone provide the best method / pedal to sort this out.
Thanks in advance,
BR
Allan
I have the same issue plugging straight through. A loud warbling low end kind of sound. Trying to reach tech support on this but so far to no avail.
What power supply are you using? It sounds like a ground loop.
I am using the supplied power supply.
Can I send you a 15 second iPhone video of the sound?
Yes please do! That would help.
You said the noise is there in bypass?
No the noise is not present in bypass. Where to I email the video?
I tried to post the video here but it’s too large
Can you put it on youtube?

Great I heard it!
I have not heard that noise before.
Please do me a favor… go guitar into the Lester and Lester into the amp bypassing the other pedals.
This is just to see if the noise is internal to the Lester or sneaking in via a loop from the other pedals.
Ok I will do that when I get home around 5pm est. thank you!
Please review and advise. Thank you.
