Does anyone have pics of the interior wiring of a Rams Head BMP wired to true bypass? I’m building a clone with a repro pcb but all the pictures I can find show the stomp switch as one of the original three terminal jobbies, which I don’t have.
Er, did that help? I was thinking I knew of at least one other picture, but I didn’t find it, I was thinking the pic in that guide would do the job though.
Been gone a while. Thanks for the pics. I was looking more for a conversion of a Rams Head but this looks like it’s worth a go. I’ll see if it works, but I may have to get a new board first. the one I’m working on is a little munched.
Look at the 1976 Muff pix near the end of the V2 section in my Big Muff page listed below. It is wired with a standard six lug bypass switch.
Yes thanks. I have tried pretty much all the combinations on your site and none work. I suspect it is a problem with the board. I’ve checked all the components, resoldered them, soldered copper wire to the traces and replaced the components but I still get zip. When I replaced the same components on the NYC Reissue board they work fine (Please see “Rams Head Boost”). I’m going to try another board.
Post pics of what you’ve got. I have some good wiring diagrams for the early (no AC) and later (w/AC) ram’s heads.
