Is there any significance to the differences in colour of the v2 Big Muff Ram’s Head boards? I have one brown one and one off-white.
The off-white one (which is in a Foxey Lady) has “MC7” (MCT?) written all over the component side…I’ve never seen that in pics of any other boards (although Kit’s got some pics of a PNP muff with NVF written on the board).
Just different OEMs?
Here’s mine
Pots are CTS round shaft with 1978 date codes, so I’m presuming they’re not original…
I doubt there’s any significance. The NVF/MCT are likely markings from the blank board manufacturer.
Thought so — thanks.
BTW, the pots on that board I posted above have a 1978 date — I’m presuming they’re non-original…wasn’t the 3003 Foxey Lady from 73-ish?
Yeah, I’d say those pots are non-original. What kind of knobs did it have on it?
Some random rubbish. I have some round shaft Davis Molding repros I shoved on it so it looks better. Lovely sounding muff though.
