I’ve had another “top brand” looper that’s developed some reliability problems with the button switches — when they don’t work during a gig, it’s massively annoying and embarrassing — and I’ve learned that that brand has a reputation for unreliable switches. I’ve heard great things about EH pedals and am looking at the 720 looper, but I’d sure like to know a little something about the reliability of them overall and of course especially about their footswitch buttons. What can any of you long-time users tell me? Thanks much…
Bueller?… Bueller?….. no comments?
Foot switches get dirty and corroded. It depends where you live and the conditions your pedal goes through.
Deoxit makes a spray cleaner that works great on these switches.
I would try that!
