Hi guys,
I was wondering about a few things:
On the picture of the Graphic Fuzz you can see it says 9V where you plug in the power adapter:
However, I downloaded the instruction booklet and it says that you need a 40v adapter. Can anyone tell me which is correct?
Thanks!
January 18, 2009 at 12:36 pm #91044nightravenMemberthe older model (in the big box) needed a 40v adaptor, the die cast/XO one needs 9v. if you buy it, the adaptor should come with it anyway.
January 18, 2009 at 12:43 pm #91045TheGarethMemberYou get an adapter with the die cast one? If I did get it, I was hoping that it’d run off my OneSpot adapater….

January 18, 2009 at 1:08 pm #91047TheGarethMemberCool, thanks! I must say that I really like the idea of being able to use it as a stand alone EQ too.
January 18, 2009 at 3:21 pm #91048electro-melxModeratorHey Gareth, yeah that manual is the old manual…the new one should be perfectly fine off a one spot.
I think that’s one of the great things EHX have done with this box. I’d really like one of these myself I think the envelope control would be really cool….I just can’t justify the outlay right now, especially as I have the stand alone EQ now…..if you get one and decide it isn’t for you after a while let me know because I’d be interested.

At first, I didn’t like the envelope control. After messing with it some more, its growing on me.
I have to admit though. I’ve been using it more as an EQ, than Fuzz + EQ. It is a lot quieter than my GE-7.

Will do, Mel! I’m off to Glasgow next month so I’ll be picking up some new pedals all being well. I’m also after a Stereo Electric Mistress.

July 31, 2009 at 7:35 pm #100174dinkyMemberdid you guys run the old one of a one spot with any of visual sounds converters?
im afraid of frying my preciousssssss.
those who have succesfullly tried this do shine some light here.thanks in advance,
dinky.July 31, 2009 at 8:01 pm #100175julianModeratorThe old one can’t be run off the one spot. The one spot converters just make it the appropriate plug, they don’t make it the proper voltage -_-
So you’ve got to use the adapter.
