    ok, I’ve decided that I’m going to be using a lot more envelope filter in my new work.

    i currently own a classic DOCTOR Q and Y TRIGGERED FILTER, but have decided these are no longer good enough.

    I’ve decided between the QTRON+ or the RIDDLE:QBALLS. i just need a bit more input from others to decide.

    price isn’t a factor, just sound quality and sound options.

    i also am not concerned with the effects loop option on the QTRON+, but i would get the + model only because its the best model. otherwise i wont be using the effects loop.

    also I’m looking to replace my Crybaby with a EHX wah, witch EHX does not currently make. i know sum of these pedals can do it with the optional expression pedal. (i almost got the TUBE EQ just to do this)

    any suggestions would help.

    I am also thinking about the riddle I have a Qtron…I like it alot but, the added control with the riddle is tempting….

    also, IMHO an EH wha has a nice percussive attack I do not get with any other of my wha pedals….maybe EH should re-issue them? crying tone demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHtDetVJ3H0

    Riddle is much more versatile than a Qtron, so it’d get my vote.

    yeah i think ill be going with the RIDDLE, and st.bede i am aware of all the old different wah pedals EHX used to have, and plan to purchase one or two when i can, but i was still looking for a modern EHX replacement for a wah, like RIDDLE or the Tube EQ with an expression pedal

    it looks like im going to be opting for the riddle-its more costly but anything seems cheap after buying a hog doesnt it?!?! always been a fan of having control over an effect using the expression pedal.

    You’ve made the right decision – the Riddle is excellent. I can get the same sounds
    as from the Q-Tron + & a whole lot mo’

    How is the expression pedal working with conjuction with the classic envelope filter use? how are the modes switched?

    and does anyone have any clips of it using the expression pedal? how does it sonds?

    I am wah-less at the time and soon i’ll be looking for an envelope filter and the Riddle seems to be an awesome choice. I could solve those two problems at the same time :-)

    Hello, this is a really old topic, but I hope somebody help me. I from Brazil and I just got
    a Riddle: q-balls, wich i’m really enjoying. I wanted to know about this expression pedal feature of it. Can it be any exp. pedal, or just a EHX especific exp. pedal? I ask you this because it’s really really dificult to get a EHX pedal here in Brazil. Hope somebody help me out. Thanks!

    Hi, I´m from Brazil too. I just bought a Moog EP2 on Ebay to use with the EHX pedals. Reading on other topics I guess this pedal can work fine with them and it’s no so expensive.

    I think the QTron is analog and sounds very much like a wah pedal. I like my QTron.
