Hello…I’m new here, my name’s Zach…Nice to be part of this board with you guys. I need some advise….I just bought an original (Big Box/Wooden Box era) Q-Tron off of ebay, got it in the mail, and I noticed two things right off the bat; A) There were only 2 screws holding the base plate on the bottom (which to me says that someone has been tinkering around with something..most probably calibration pots…which was later confirmed by the seller) and B: no matter where it’s dialed/switched in at, the sound seems to always be filled with a muddy and unclear bass sound. It’s like the filter can’t even be heard through it. The output is extremely weak almost all of the time as well. I need to know who you guys reccommend to calibrate the Q-Tron??..I send an email to Lingenberg Sound Repair (found them through Mike Beigel’s site) but I’m not sure yet if they will calibrate it for me (it says they work on “MU”-Trons.) Do you guys know if EHX will calibrate it? Who do you guys reccomend?

Thanks for the link EH Man..
