I am having a problem with Deluxe Memory Man. I was using it with with Korg Monotron which worked on two channels alone, and when connected to the pedal, the signal was transmitted to two channels as well. When I switched off the mixer, pedal, and the synth, and removed the cables and did the same thing in a few hours, the signal was going just to one channel. Every time after this instance the signal would be transmitted just to one channel instead of two.
Can somebody give me an insight upon this as to why the signal was transmitted to both channels at first and then was transmitted to only one channel? I am new to this and so would appreciate your help.
Thank you a lot in advance!
have you modded your monotron at all, or are you using 3.5mm to 1/4″ adapters to get signal to the DMM?
Which version of the DMM do you have? An older one (trapezoid enclosure) or a newer one (die cast enclosure)?
I know some people have had problems with traces on the monotron pcbs lifting. You good with a soldering iron?
I haven’t modded my monotron at all, and I heard of it for the first time (just starting out with electronic music). Searching for it on the net gave me more insight into this, but if you can give me any tips or guidelines as to where to start with it, I would be very grateful.
Yes, I sent the signal to DMM just the way you described. I have an old DMM.
What should I do?
