I live in Australia, and i got a metal muff pedal for xmas, and now it doesnt work  . I had it running on batteries seeing as i cannot find the correct 9v power supply for it. and now when i plug it in (brand NEW batteries) the lights dont come on and i was just wondering if anyone could give me any tips or things to try to get it before i have to send it back.
thanks
HI, I live in Aust also and I have had problems with a Metal Muff – two in fact. See my post under another thread. All I did was plug a brand X 9VDC power supply that works fine for all my other pedals into the MM and it never worked after that. Because it never occureed to me that that was the problem I got another one and the same thing happened. EHX fixed them both but I had to return them to US for repair (bought them in USA so no local warranty!) EHX never told me what went wrong or why this happens so now I only run it on batteries which sucks! Did you ever plug a power supply into your MM? Or did you only ever run on batteries?

Since posting this thread, i have fixed my problem! what you need to do is buy a regulated multi voltage power adaptor which can change voltages you can find them at any dicksmith

they cost around $30 but it saves you in the end from buying $8 9v batteries.
when/if you get it; all you do is find the little plug which fits in the metal muff, set the power supply to 9 volts and your ready to rock!
