I have already asked a question about this subject in relation to my Cathedral Stereo Reverb. It’s annoying to have to bend down to change sounds. They have that function on other pedals like the POG 2, Ravish Sitar, Ring Thing etc. Being larger pedals, I suppose it may have something to do with that aspect, but other companies do have that ability in smaller pedals. My original question to EHX was that I wanted to have the “tap/infinite hold” toggle switch “modified” (which I assume EHX won’t do) to act like the preset switches on the POG 2 etc. I already have a Freeze pedal so I did not need that function per say! Not everyone is a “studio” musician where ease of access is not a concern in getting a particular sound. For live purposes its just not happening. EHX has some great engineers designing the pedals-I’m sure, but why in the hell did they not prioritize that in the design of “all” the new 9 Series pedals? They are some great and ingenious sounding pedals otherwise!
