Hey guys, apologies if this has been asked before, I oculdnt find this exact quesiton when searching through the forums.
Just got my first Big Muff a week or so ago and Im having problems powering it. It works good with a battery, but I dont like batteries, I play a lot and so changing batteries is a pain, and expensive to be honest.
I read the manual and it says I can get a 9v battery eliminator or something to power the big muff. What is this? Ive never heard of one, and ive never quite seen a jack like this. Is it possible to power from a plug?
Thankyou in advance.
Just your standard 9v wall wart/AC adapater. The jack on the pedal is the same used by 95% of pedal manufacturers.
Any 9vdc/100mA adapter with the correct plug will work, as will nearly any adapter that’s described as BOSS-style.
But Ron, it takes the 1/8” jack style not the 2.1mm boss style.
get one of these:

I use an old green Russian Big Muff – no wall socket to be found. I just use one of these on the end of my Furman cord:
I thought he meant the Little Big Muff Pi.
And I thought you had knowledge of the latest NYC that I didn’t! 😆
I thought the revision C may have had a boss style jack.
well, to be fair to everyone, it wasn’t exactly clear which Big Muff version he had.
