I’ve got 3 EHX pedals: A small clone chorus, a Worm( with auto wah, phaser ,tremolo, and vibrato), and a Deluxe Electric Mistress. The chorus and DE Mistress have 9V adaptors but the Worm is a 24V adaptor. I’m planning to buy a power supply, and the one I want will accept all 6 of my pedals plus a Moog Delay(104Z) but specifies that to be compatible with the power supply module, they all have to be center hole negative. I looked at the back of all my wall warts and they have a darkened area on every one of them…dead center in the electrical diagram. Am I to assume this means Negative?? I’m assuming it does, but before I go out and buy this module I just wanna’ be sure. I know the 24 V Worm will have to go directly to a strip or the AC outlet on the module. Am I totally wrong on this issue or what?? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Dickey58

These are the symbols for Center Positive & Center Negative.

They should be on your power adapters.

Well, all 3 of my pedals are definitely tip ringed positive. I know, now, that the 24V Worm will have to be plugged into a strip off my Power pad2 supply(MXR), but is there any way a 9V wall wart supplied by EHX that’s tip ringed positive can be made into or adjusted via a cord/coupler/whatever?? into a tip ring negative power supply without doing irreparable harm to the pedals?? Thanks for any advice, tips or suggestions you knowledgeable users out there might help me with. My small clone chorus and Deluxe Electric Mistress are the other 2 tip ringed positive EHX pedals I use. Everything else (8 pedals in total) are all 9V tip ring – so no problems there. It’d be nice to hear from the pro’s at EHX too on this matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dickey58 pro-fiddler with The Dixie Highway Band.
