The manual for both pedals warns to only use the adapters that came with the pedal. Both pedals came with 9.6v adapters. I was wondering if i could just daisy chain these pedals along with a Seiko tuner and Hardwire Chorus pedal using the One Spot adapter.
thanks in advance.
Anybody? There are probably more people this question could help if anyone has tried this. Because of the price of the pedal I don’t want to assume I can just use the One Spot.
they put that warning in the manual, to protect complete idiots from frying there pedals with the wrong power adapters, kinda like a car dealer telling you to only come back here to change your oil, but if you know what your doing (oil type and where it goes -Vs- voltage, polarity, and Ma draw) then you should be fine.
yes, you can power your pedals with a one spot adapter, i have 3 of them for my collection. the only bad thing that could happen is sum pedals dont like to be daisy chained (mostly digital ones, ring thing?) and may make unwanted noise, but it will not damage them at all.
it all depends on your whole setup ect…if it will make noise, i hear a lot of people get unwanted noise from powering there SMMH with other pedals, but i chain mine with a H Stain and a dozen other pedals with no problems at all, you just have to try it out.
Thanks Mr. Grim I kind of figured it was some sort of Idiot disclaimer. I actually have a 9v AC adopter for an Art reverb unit and I can see how someone not paying attention could make the mistake. I also noticed this thread has had 40 some views so maybe other people were wondering the same thing or maybe they thought there was a new pedal called the Ring Thing Graphic Fuzz since I didn’t put a comma between the two, either way thanks again.
