Hey there.
Im Jonas from germany, new to the board.
I want to share my last weeks headache about a multi powre supply on my board.
So much as I love EHX, I cant find a solution to have a multiple power supply since my pedals of EHX need 9.6v.
I wish I could use something like the t.rex chameleon but that doesnt seem to work.Anyone that has similar issues and found a way around it?
I would love not to bring 6 adapters every time. Also daisy chains aren’t working, just bashing my signal with noise.Regards,

Another forum meneber on a different forum told me I was fine to use a 9 volt supply to run it, eveen tho the POG2 is 9.6 as well. Been doing this for about 5 months with no issues yet. Don’t blame you for wanting to make sure though!

I think I will just have to do it like alway:, buy a lot of stuff to see what works out.
Even though Im wondering why there is no fancy solution by EHX looking like a wiener or ufo or something.J

I’m looking for a pedalboard powersupply to feed all my fx’s What brand will do, because some of them exclude EHX in their compability list. I would like a T-Rex or a Dunlop Power brick.
If it is not possible to use it for my EHX fx’s – I will go for an outlet board on my pedalboard for the original power suplies and a One Spot for the rest of my FX’s.

But later in the instrux it says “The POG2 requires 180 mA at 9 VDC with a center negative plug. The POG2 accepts Boss style AC Adapters. “
I’ve been using mine for a couple of years with a PowerAll daisy chain of 9V plugs on my pedalboard with no apparent Ill effects. I’d recommend the PowerAll for a crowded pedalboard.
Still use the EHX 24V adapter for my old Qtron.November 17, 2012 at 3:09 pm #118410miyaruMemberThanx, I will look for a Powerall!!!

I want to use it now that I’m back in Australia so I got an unregulated 1000ma power supply and want to cut off the connector and solder it to this.
The guy who sold me the new power supply though told me the English Muffin has to draw exactly 1000ma or else it will be ruined.
Does anybody have the specs for this pedal? I’ve tried the EH supplier in my country, music shops and repair shops too to no avail.

I have been told by several qualified techs that a pedal will only draw as much current as it needs. It hasn’t led me wrong yet.
However, the voltage and polarity have to be correct, or you could damage your pedal. Make sure that you give a DC pedal DC current and and an AC pedal AC current (Line6, Alesis, and others) Also, in the case of a DC pedal, be absolutely certain that you get the polarity correct (center negative vs center positive).
According to the EH website:
https://www.ehx.com/products/english-muff-n/instructions
the English Muff’n requires 12VAC at 1A.
I would do my best to get an EH approved power supply, however. I could help you if you were in America, but I know diddly about Australian power.
