Hi all,
First post- I had these fall into my lap today. The frequency analyzer must be OLD because it has the AC prong and a transformer on the inside. I’m trying to figure out what would be easier- remove the receptacle and transformer, and mount a DC jack on a piece of scrap and bolt it into the hole for the receptacle and get an appropriate DC supply… or try to find an AC power cord I can use. I’m thinking the latter, but has anyone else seen where these can be found? I can’t find one. I can’t imagine it’s more than just an AC cord, but it’s also a bit of a unique size and I’m not wild about whittling one down to fit.
Thanks for any guidance you can provide!
EDIT: the links to dropbox pix aren’t working, and I can’t get the images to a small enough size atm. But yeah- it’s a round hole with two prongs that looks like an AC plug. Any assistance is appreciated!
Hi! I recently had the transformer on my unit replaced. Micheal at Ampology (http://www.ampology-audio.com/#/Impressum) did the work. See pic for his solution to this problem. Its not stock but, is quite usable and gets rid of the unobtanium power cord issue.
