My son lost the power supply for this pedal here in the UK. Tried a universal 300 mA mains adaptor set at 9V – it worked yesterday but today the power supply seems to have failed.
I see the one that was supplied originally was 9.6V – should it work OK at 9V if I try another universal supply? They only come in 3V increments from 9V to 12V it seems and because this pedal has the opposite polarity to the collection of fixed 9V supplies I have we’ll have to get another universal one with switchable polarity.
thanks
an ehx one is £12 from hotrox…. I wouldn’t use a universal one with switchable polarity… it’s too easy to accidently give it the wrong Voltage or polarity by mistake and damage the pedal.
