Hello,
I have a Double Muff and I want to buy a power adapter for it. The only one I’m able to find is a Bespeco PS20E with selectable output. So, the 9V part I don’t have to worry about. However… the adapter is 500mA and the Double Muff takes 100mA. I know nothing about this stuff, so if anyone could tell me what effect this would have on the pedal, if any, I would really appreciate it. And basically, if I can actually use this adapter.
Cheers,
L
You can use an adapter with a higher current rating (mA) but not a higher voltage (V). The pedal will only draw as much current as it needs.
With some splitters you could power several pedals with that single adapter.
Excellent, thanks very much for the reply!
