    Actually, I currently work as a district level resource teacher, which means I manage the library management software for 182 schools, and I train all of the media specialists and textbook managers how to use it. I also train new teachers how to integrate technology into their classrooms. I used to work as a classroom teacher for all age groups, from 9 years old to 18 years old. I might end up back in the classroom, which is cool by me. I enjoy working directly with young people, and the pay is the same either way.

    I got it in a trade awhile back. It’s actually a modified muff circuit, housed in a Fuzz Face. You can’t see the fuzz pot, since it doesn’t have a knob on it though. Sounds awesome, but I’m going to be getting it rehoused soon.

    XO Mistress is pretty cool. Has a good flanger sound, but it seems to peak out my little crap dorm room amp. I think the DEM sounds a lot more natural, but its huge and has its own power supply, so I stuck with the XO.

    Keep an eye out for a vintage 9v Electric Mistress. That would be your ticket if you want to go analog. I’m actually getting ready to sell mine on eBay because I already have 2 other vintage Mistresses. It sounds quite amazing though, and I’m reluctant to sell it; but I just bought a 90s Japanese Fender Mustang, so I have to let it go 😥
