ok, if it works for you – great it’S just that the time bender seemes to be overflooded with some useless functions (for me) and the SMMH is simply the best delay pedal i’ve ever had (Danelecetro Dan-echo, Reel Echo, Carl Martin Red Repeat, Boss DD-20 and now the SMMH) or played (of course i didn’t play everything… even remotely)
about the digitech… yeah, they don’t get a lot of love… but the Hardwire series seems to be really interesting, so maybe they’re gonna get some now
I will need to move on to a pedaltrain Pro before I get the POG2. A Soul Preacher would fit.
And I’ll have to daisy chain my digital pedal with the aux AC output and the TU-2…or get another PP2+!
I made a couple of changes after the first couple of gigs to make the board more user friendly. Signal chain is the same as above but I swapped around two pedals to keep those in the lower row that get stomped on the most.
nice knobs on the DS-1 nice board, clean… but one thing – isn’t it annoying how those patch cables move under the Boss switch? i hate it… (i’m talking about the ds-1 again)
how’s that CAE line booster? PM please (i’m tired of my offtopics )

The DS-1 is the Robert Keeley Ultra/Seeing Eye mod. You get cool knobs and a blue LED. Oh yeah, and it sounds pretty darn awesome too. I don’t have to worry about the switch on the DS-1, ’cause I’m not touching it nor the Maxon, for that matter. They’re both always on and hooked up to the LS-2 in the bottom row, which takes care of all the switching. (Note that the patch cables for all other Boss effects are cleverly tucked under the board 😆 ).
I gotta mention how happy I am that I got the Switchblade. It makes my life sooooooo much easier, switching guitars is a sinch now.
The CAE Boost is there at the end of the chain to boost my signal for leads/choruses. Basically, it’s a super transparent true bypass booster that works really well with my amp (Fender Hot Rod Deluxe). So much for PM’s.
ok part 2 of 2 of my pedal board. ( 2 pics dont fit in one post)
continuing chain from Metal Muff…………….:
EHX Switch Blade (classic)
channel one goes to: Ibanaz tuner. channel two:………
EHX Small Clone (classic)
EHX Stereo Poly Chorus
EHX Stereo Memory Man w/ hazarai
EHX Holier Grail
EHX The Silencer (classic)
EHX MX-3M Mini Mixer
Zoom MRT-3B drum machine (mixed into its own channel on mixer for practis)
Zoom footswitch for drum modual
what do you think to the silencer pedal ?
is it good / bad ?
do its job ?
im looking at getting one
im going for a modern ehx and a vintage ehx board
and i think this will probs be on both, if its ok
i own 2 of the “The Silencer” unit. and i wanted it because i need everything EHX, but if you really need to use this unit for its intended purpose i wouldn’t recommend it. i don’t know if it is supposed to work the way that all 3 units i have had work, but its not very good, it does the job, but when it cuts off the noise when needed as you set it, it fades the signal in and out with a crackly noise instead of just cutting off the signal and/or quietly fading it in/out.
plus this is an older unit, and i believe the power outlet is center positive, reverse of the newer units, even ones in the same enclosure, so be aware of that or it wont work, or burn out.
