I think you can spread the pedals far enough apart, that you will not hit the wrong pedal.
Hopefully this helps.
Well, what i meant was i need to be conscious of space to try to fit the pedals into a board without putting them too close that my foot twitches and gets the wrong one, or worse, 2 distortion pedals at the same time its not the length of the cable that the a problem. sorry i didn’t really word that clearly enough lol.

Great to see you here, tubezipper!
Both the 16 sec DD and the Lofi Loop Junky arrived this week. I’m in Looper’s Heaven
I’m going to start a 16 sec DD thread as soon as I get a chance to record a soundclip of it. it’s a fantastic pedal, but I want to know more about the mod that EHX can do for it.November 2, 2008 at 2:09 pm #86737MINGMemberMelx, yes.

how are you liking them, especially the lofi. I would love to create something on it. How much you get it for? cause they’re bloody expensive.

The Lofi Loop Junky is extremely simple, but brilliant for its simplicity. Like the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai, it allows you to determine your own loop time without any count in. The 16sDD works more like the BOSS RC20XL – there is a count in, and the loop time is predetermined by setting the tempo and number of measures.
The SMMH and the 16sDD allow you to pile on multiple layers, reverse the loop, speed up the loop, and change the pitch of the loop. The LFLJ does not. However, the LFLJ and the 16sDD allow you to modulate the loop after it is recorded. The SMMH allows you to filter (EQ) the loop after it is recorded.
All 3 of them have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Let’s just say I didn’t pay anywhere near full price for the LFLJ, which is over $300 USD. It was used, but in perfect condition with the original box, cloth wrap, manual, and the power plate. I am quite happy with the purchase.

Great stuff man.
Really want to have a lofi loop junky on my board. Although for now i can slightly recreate its sound with turning the blend, level and chorus/vibrato on my DMM all the way up. All that its missing is the hiss and beautiful noise
Firstly a SMMH needs to get on my board, thus replacing the DL4
Is the 2880 on your wish list or have you grabbed one of those too? ; )
November 3, 2008 at 8:52 pm #86810asatbluesboyParticipantGotta put the pedalboard together. Gotta get velcro to do that, though, and got to glue the thing down. Me and glue… Not good…
November 4, 2008 at 10:26 am #86844tubezipperModeratori’m gonna take a new photo of mine today. Neeeeed more EHX
November 4, 2008 at 11:01 am #86849electro-melxModeratorhere’s my ‘under construction’ pic. (a mess of wires and pedals at the mo!!)
It will have my wiggler on it and an XO graphic fuzz and Big Muff/TW before the end of the month hopefully…I’ll have my whammy and wah off board and maybe the tuner if there isn’t room for it.

Looking good there, mate. Now that I see the Punkifier in context to the rest of the board, it does stand out quite a bit. Still, it always freaks me out to see people rehouse vintage pedals 😥 But I agree, somehow it seems out of place visually.

yeah, I know what you mean…ideally I’ll pick up another to rehouse….or get someone to clone it (I have a schematic)
I dunno…..there might not be room for it anyway, we’ll see down the line….I’d like it to look like this.
and with knobs etc..

Well, as long as you do that to the enclosure, I completely endorse the rehouse
It’s so pretty, though, I’d be afraid to stomp on it
