    Hello everyone!I’m new to this forum and at Elecro Harmonix at all!
    Recently bought my first pedal – It’s Russian Big Muff!
    I was going to shop to buy pedal,I thought that i’ll buy something like Boss Ds2 or Ds1,then i tried them and I didn’t liked,so i tried the EHX Russian Big muff,and i liked it,so I bought it,now i am happy with my pedal :)

    Here’s mine Big Muff:

    Maybe Someone can give me some cool settings for Russian Big Muff?

    I don’t have a russian muff (only a usa) but for me I like the sustain pretty much maxed out, the volume a little over my clean signal and the tone somewhere between 11 and 1 o’clock…..but it really depends what amp you are using, you might find a better way to have it for yourself.

    My settings currently is – Volume MAX;Sustain;MAX TONE 12 O’clock,sometimes I like to set the tone at max,but not always

    This the only way to use a Big Muff IMO.

    Just added this little thing: a Muff Fuzz from 1975 or thereabouts

    I think it sounds great…if a tad noisy. Any of you familiar with these? It has some of the worst soldering I’ve ever seen, so I’m going to retouch everything, probably replace the wiring and the jacks. Wondering if it’s be worth replacing the caps too. Any suggestions for taming the noise any much appreciated.

    I want to make mu muff’s sound a little more metal,shoud I boost it with overdrive?If yes,wich one?

    You can add another gain stage to the big muff by using an LPB1 in front of it.

    And,how it will sound?Actually i tried to do it with the virtual overdrive,it was terrible :D there was a big noise :D
