Hello.
I’ve just purchase a Stereo Polychorus but the overlaod led is clipping even with low volume setting.
It is plug in the Fx loop of my Koch pedaltone between a worm and Head rush E2.
Is there a way to adjust the input level? Is it disfonctionning? Many thanks

There is a mod you can do to it to stop it I think but I don’t know about the mod details.I wouldn’t worry about it.
DMM’s do it too.

If the sound is not distorted to an objectionable degree, no problem exists.Howard Davis, EE

Is there the possibility to mod that? I use different types of pickups, with fender enforcers as humbuckers or single coils, as P90s, the overload clipping remains. I noticed that only with old Teisco’s single coils the clipping decrease, but smoothly remains.
I’ve also noticed the “high frequency mosquito-sound” on tune/delay control after 2 o’clock, but I don’t mind about that, the overloading clipping sometimes it’s too much!
How can I resolve this problem?
Thanks!Meex Iko
February 23, 2012 at 9:00 pm #117003compassionwolfParticipantI am having a problem with my brand new Stereo Polychorus whenever I use the delay function – either in Chorus mode using the Tune/Delay knob, or in the Double Track mode.
There is a background high pitched trail of harmonics which follow every note, a bit like a steel drum which is “pinging” enough to be annoying (except when I want a slightly steel drum sound obviously). Sounds like some ring modulation is creeping in? It makes no difference whether I have the Feedback knob rolled completely off or not.
Any suggestions or is the unit faulty? Thanks if you can help.
May 24, 2015 at 7:06 am #120700MoshPittMemberJust purchased a brand new 2015 unit. I would love to have it on my board because the green graphic is beautiful, but that’s the best thing I have to say about this product. Mine exhibits all the same symptoms listed here. The clipping from my bridge humbucker straight into the pedal is nasty. It even clips in split coil mode with my Schecter. “It’s pretty normal” is a completely unacceptable response. I would be giving high praise for the versatility of the controls and the pristine clarity of the modulated voice at low input levels. None of that matters if I can’t run my guitar at full volume without it sounding like vomit.
