Hi just got the amaizing polychorus but i was wondering about the off on switch, should it click like the sweep switch or is it supposed to slide and it seems a bit looser also. hope my explanation is ok!!
You should feel a little bit of a click. Might be coming apart.
thanks, and ye i think you are correct it realy seems like its gona come away, and the slightest push turns it off.
Most likely it’s taken a bump and the base of the switch is loose from the body. You can open the pedal and push the base back into the frame. If you want to, you can them tighten the metal tabs that hold the base in place.
This seems to be common with those Alpha slide switches. I’ve lost count of how many slide switches I’ve had to adjust. A pair of needle-nose pliers does the trick.
Thanks for the tips! I think I will return it to the store though as this is the second pedal they have sent me damaged within a month! drives me nuts! I think they need to get a new courier company
