as i made a thread on hcfx, i’ll discuss it here too
there is one feature that is really missing from the pog2 and would be so fucking awesome to have
Sequencing of the presets, much like the easter egg mode on the DMB
So basically it going through the 8 presets at a set rate, for example
1. -2
2. -1
3. +1
4. +2
5. and so on
right now i’m doing it by stepping on the the preset button continuously. Sounds super cool
here’s a quick clip

i didn’t bother to change my presets so it’s not a perfect example and sorry about the clipping
EHX should offer this mod!!
Nice! Really cool stuff, thanks for sharing.
that’s hella cool
i wonder why haven’t anyone came up with that idea yet… i mean… with the idea of step octaver
I love the sequenced sound and have been working on a sequencer that plugs into expression pedal jacks on various pedals and runs through 1-10 steps. Even on a pedal with no expression jacks, I could modify the pedal to replace any pot/slider with a jack connection. It’s not done yet, but should create the same sound you are talking about. I’m pretty exited to finish up the project and try it out.
Great idea , thx guy.
I’ve made something like that for my HOG. I’ve yet to put it in an actual enclosure. Project is on hold right now while I work on other things.
I like my AdrenaLinn. I can imagine something like it being popular.
Then again, I’m not sure if an EHX version, based purely on octave presets, would sell in great numbers. I don’t know what kind of sales EHX determines to be a break-even point when considering a new effect, or if they even approach it that way (as opposed to an incremental approach to product introduction). Considering that the AdrenaLinn in its various forms would the competition, it might be a bit boutique, and therefore of limited appeal…
