    I don’t think this will be a problem anymore, my POG2 came today, brand new, and it doesn’t suffer from this defect. It seems EHX have managed to stamp it out!

    I spoke on the phone with an EHX representative today. He was very kind and he emailed me prepaid UPS shipping form to ship my POG 2 back to NY and have it fixed for free.

    Hi there,
    I’m reviving this thread because I happen to be having the same problem with the POG2 not saving presets.
    I bought it 2 years ago and I’ve been too lazy to try and have the issue addressed right away, I would just manually change settings every time :)

    After reading it all it seems there was a whole batch of faulty items and i’m surprised and disappointed that EHX wouldn’t do anything about it spontaneously, all the more so as it is one of their more pricey units…

    Anyway although it’s unfair that I should pay anything at all for a faulty item, even now the warranty is long since over, I’d like to try and have it repaired anyway, even if it cost me.
    I was wondering what would be the best procedure, considering I live in France and bought it online from a UK store, and considering the memory part obviously has to be provided by EHX.
    Do they deal with local repair shops or do they have exclusive licensed repair services for their products somewhere in Europe for example ?

    Hope someone here will have an idea !

    EHX now has an office in the UK. If you send the POG2 to the following address, I will update the firmware and return it to you free of charge. It will then save its presets. This applies to anyone else in Europe having the same problem.

    Hi

    I’m just wondering if that offer still applies. I’m in the same situation as pr_simon with a Pog 2 that wont save the memory presets. Should i just send the pog 2 to that office in UK, and youñ¸ll repair it?

    Hi,
    I don’t know if it still does but I forgot to testify at the time :

    I must thank and congratulate Mr Williams here, as he did settle the issue within about a week after I sent the POG 2 and then indeed sent it back at no extra charge.
    It was a very pleasant surprise, as I would have expected a much slower, opaque and complicated process to obtain anything from such a (seemingly) big company.

    Yes it is. Just send it to me at EHX UK in sunny Swansea.

    I’ll update the firmware and return it free of charge.

    I’m another EHX customer who experience the preset problem with the POG2, and I hope your awesome customer service is still up and running?

    Do i just send the POG2 in a box with my returning address?
