I have been running my pedalboard with a Gator 8 Bus, feeding the POG with 18V from the Gator. A while ago when I switched on the board in the morning the LED of the POG started being lit up in both positions of the bypass switch and the unit not being functional. Unplugging the DC plug usually helped solving the problem… Now it doesn’t anymore. The Gator is declared to support up to 1700 mA of current. I have a max of 1900 if i sum up all the pedals by using the max draw. What I am wondering is why is only the POG acting up and not the power supply? All else is working fine. My guess would be that all values declared by manufacturers are absolute maximums and leave a certain headroom and the POG problem is something else…
My pedals in order:
MXR Super Comp
Digitech Bad Monkey > TC Polytune
EHX POG
EHX Small Stone (v2)
TC Alter Ego (draws like Flashback)
TC Trinity (draws like Hall Of Fame)
Boomerang III Looper
all fed by Gator 8 Bus.
Any help or clues much appreciated!
Happy holidays!
