Hi I have a problem with a POG2 Unit.
I have had this unit a few years, and although it is permanently on my pedal board, I don’t use it very often (maybe 1 or 2 songs). However several times during a gig, the PRESET LED starts flashing to indicate that the pedal has moved out of preset recall mode and that the sliders and controls are now active. I understand that this is supposed to happen whenever one of the controls is moved to a different position. But in my case, the LED starts to flash even when nothing on the unit (or the pedalboard) has been touched! This happens several times and is extremely annoying!
Is there an easy fix for this issue? I am looking to sell the POG2 and change to a Synth 9 Pedal, but don’t feel that I can sell the pedal with this fault! The Pedal is powered from it’s own power supply = the EH unit that was supplied with it.
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
Wow! – nobody else come up against this problem?
OK – so I’ve narrowed it down a bit!
The Preset light flashes whenever the “Detune” slider is at a setting other than zero. When the recall rotary switch is pressed to recall a preset, the preset is loaded, and the preset light stops flashing. However, if the detune slider is up at all, the LED will start flashing within a few seconds!
