Would this mute kill any sound if this switch was not active or should I hear something still with faders turned up? Thanks

Further investigation found that previous owner had done some soldering on the input slider & the tabs are gone. Anyone know where P1 goes to next in th chain? Can’t find a schematic anywhere? Thanks
