This is something I could never figure out.
I been able to plug directly into a computer soundboard and a digital recorder without an amp. how is that possible?
I don’t know much considering I head is stick in the micing an amp while recording with analog tape days
All a guitar puts out is voltage, same as a keyboard or computer’s ‘headphone out’, or even a microphone; the digital recorder or computer soundcard is capable of translating that into a digital sound file.
all cool thanks!
