You made a monster looper. One of the most sought after looper features is the ability to lay down an initial loop and have all additional loops sync to that loop 1 to 1 or as multiples of the initial loop. Hopefully it’s a future firmware update. My credit card is ready!

February 11, 2018 at 5:16 pm #123581TacklingDummyMemberI’d take a Boomerang Rang 3 with a memory card capability or an RC-300 refresh, too!
March 28, 2018 at 8:46 am #122942daemon-electricityParticipantI created an account just to request this. I bought the 96000 because it does literally everything else I want in a looper… except this, and I assumed that this was a standard feature, especially on such an advanced looper. This is extremely frustrating and thanks to Reverb I’m likely stuck with this looper and another EHX safe bet gone awry because I assumed EHX wouldn’t do something as dumb as sell an expression pedal that can’t be parked in a sweet spot, let alone a rocking horse with a motion sensor mislabeled as an expression pedal that will walk all over the place without a $15 accessory and no doubt put wear and tear on any cables plugged into them, thus revealing “no moving parts” to be a lie. That cable and that input jack is a moving part and unlike a photometer, it’s not designed to move. It’s a copper moving part and copper is particularly prone to becoming brittle when bent repeatedly, but I digress. I shouldn’t need a research grant to buy a looper or an expression pedal and loopers in 2018 should do multiples and divisions of the original loop length.
I would be ever so grateful if this update was made, as would many others, and you would no doubt sell a crap ton of pedals. This is a make or break point for many people and had I known before hand that it wasn’t possible, it certainly would have been for me. I’m definitely not happy with my decision to put faith in EHX to not ignore such obvious flaws in what users expect.
March 28, 2018 at 8:59 am #123746TacklingDummyMemberIneas really hoping someone had come to tell me the feature was added. Dang.
April 26, 2018 at 5:48 am #123839AlmostghostsParticipantI created an account just to reply to this. I cannot believe this feature hasn’t been added. I will not buy this product without it. I’m sure there are many others that feel the same. I’m on the quest to find the perfect looper and it’s incredibly frustrating that this one comes so close then misses. The 22500 has it so obviously ehx knows how to write the software. So write it! I’m going to end up buying an outdated boss rc-30 or a ugly plastic rc-505. Ehx please respond and say you’re working on an update.

This could be the perfect looper,
we need to fight for our right to multiply!May 25, 2018 at 3:27 am #123934TacklingDummyMemberBump this!

I haven’t purchased the 950000 and info, update release notes are difficult to come by.
Fingers crossed.
May 28, 2018 at 2:01 am #123938josephcarassojuniorMemberI bought it only to find out these features were missing….
October 18, 2018 at 9:26 am #124402ian.warwickMemberSame, I have the 45000 and the next looper I use will have this feature, so get on it EHX! variable loop length will make this a killer!

November 17, 2018 at 6:46 am #124555optofonikMemberI was considering a purchase this weekend until I read this thread. Thanks everyone for the heads up
November 19, 2018 at 12:19 am #124559AlxflxnunParticipantYeah, I’d buy one instantly if this was not missing.
I use a lot of loopers and one thing I like to do is start with a short 2 bar rhythm loop, then do say 4 bars of bass line, then maybe an 8bar chord sequence over the top – if all loops are locked to the length of my first loop then the audience has to sit and listen to 8bars repeated rhythm, and 8bars of bass, and the chords before we get anywhere.I’m pretty shocked Ehx went this way with a looper that seems to have so many other features …
