A long while ago I posted a request for EHX to reissue the original Crying Tone pedal that they released in the mid to late ’70s.That pedal was one-or should I say 4?- of the best wah wah pedals on the market at that time.With the 4 separate wah wah settings you could emulate the tone of most of the wah wah pedals of the day.In addition to the 4 wah wah settings you could use it as a volume pedal or even have a reverse wah wah effect for a really freaky sound.I had a Crying Tone pedal but I traded it and a pair of guitar practice headphones for a ’65 Vox Phantom XII-that was an offer that was just too tempting to pass up.To this day I regret getting rid of my Crying Tone pedal as it was just such a versatile pedal,it was practically an indispensable part of my effects chain.I’m sure that if that fabulous pedal was put on the market again,it would outsell most of the other available wah wah pedals. Please bring back this incredible and innovative pedal.
