I’ve been noticing them around town, alot, for the last few months. Particularly Double Muffs and Small Stones, but a few others here and there. The weird thing is that they all contain new catalogues (the catalogues include the entire bass specialty section, and the XO Frequency Analyzer, Worm, Graphic Fuzz and Micro Synths), and they all have true bypass (which, if I’m not mistaken, was a new EHX feature when the pine boxes disappeared and as such was not implemented on every pedal? I could easily be wrong on that last part though).
Are these NOS pedals that you guys just shipped out with new papers, or are you making a move towards bringing the pine boxes back for the ‘Classic’ chassis? My opinion is that woodbox=rad.
ooh new pedals in pine boxes
I don’t have any pine boxes. I wish I did.
On several occasions, I’ve purchased duplicate EHX pedals just so I could have the pine box, and then sold one of the units. I’m such a geek.
Ditto!
The pine box was the deciding factor in my purchase of the Small Stone, and the reason I opted for the Q-tron rather than the Q-tron+. Although I wouldn’t know anything about what else you can keep in the boxes, I swear!
