Finally got a decent pedalboard set up but it gets real noisy when all the pedals are plugged in. I was wondering if I need to get a noise suppressor but hear it can take a lot away from the sound. Here is my setup:
Boss OS-2>
Crybaby 535Q>
EHX Stereo Memory Man>
Boomerang Plus Phrase Sampler
When I use the OD, wah and Boomerang it’s fine but as soon as I introduce the delay it gets really noisy. When using the delay pedal on its own there is no noise at all. Any suggestions?
Is it daisy-chained with the other pedals? That might be the problem, it needs to be powered by its own power supply.
Yeah the Delay and Boomerang have their own power supply, the OD and wah are running on batteries. Like I said everything works great without the delay, as soon as I add it in the chain It gets significantly noisier.
