so, they make things like the carl martin octa switch and the pedalboard tamer. My problem is, I have more than 8 pedals. I realize you can run more than one pedal in each channel, but that means 2 or more pedals will always be tied in to each other.
What I’m trying to figure out, is, is there a way to run 2 octa switches into each other so that selecting patch “a” on octa stomp 1 will select pedals that are on the octa stomp 2?
or will i have to break down and pay some unG-dly amount to have a custom one built?
Hello,
There are many switchers that have various kinds of links for running multiple boxes. I have the Rocktron Patchmate & it has this ability. However, I would say that at 16 pedals & they all have to be used separately, you’ve really got a bit of a nightmare on hand. I have 8 loops available & three of them so far are multiple pedals because they are the groups I use at the same time. If you do a little planning you will probably find you will be able to create groups that will work & save you the expense of all those cables & boxes.
