Hi forum

First post here, sadly it is on a bit of a somber note. It seems that the OD side of my Germanium Big Muff just died all of a sudden sitting on my living room floor. The distortion side still works perfectly but as soon as I engage the OD side no sound passes through the pedal even though the LED comes on. I only play at home and this thing has not been mistreated, to say the least. I am pretty surprised to have it die in a couple of years of completely pedestrian kids gloves use.

Does anyone have a clue as to what I might be able to do on my own to try and repair this thing without sending it off to a repair shop? Knowing that it is going to cost me $65 just to put it on the workbench makes this repair not worthwhile at all.

I am pretty good with a soldering iron so any tips would be appreciated.
