    Hey. I just picked up a MXR custom badass distrortion, and am freaking loving it. Next on my list is an awesome overdrive. On the list is a Germanium OD (EHX), a Classic Overdrive/GT-OD (MXR), or the big boy, a Green Rhino (Way Huge). the cheapest I’ve found the rhino is $100, and the classic overdrive a nice $40, except I don’t know how many more are still in stock. Otherwise there’s it’s clone, the GT-OD for also $100. Then the germanium, for $80. Lemmy know what you guys think. Poll up above for your votes. Thanks.

    I own the Germanium and it’s great if you want just a little bit of overdrive (i use a strat so with humbuckers you will probably get a bit more). But i would definatly add a few dollars and buy the G4BMP which is super-versatile and just great!

    true dat! the 100hz knob is pure gold. i tried to glue a litebrite piece to the boost button so i could tap it with my toe but it was a catastrophic failure of what i still think is a good idea.. nevertheless the button is supeglued in the boost position for eternity~ had to retire it from it the board t make room for a keeley mod TS9 but it played a few good shows first. it filled up a room like crazy thru a 40wt marshall.. truly a badass od.
