hey everyone, my first time posting on the EHX forums, just like to say hello!
i just got an original POG last week and i was wondering if it would be okay to run it with my Dunlop DC power brick?
the power brick has 3 18v outputs, so there shouldn’t be a problem right?
thanks!
Looks like it will provide enough power for the POG. It’ll take more than 1/2 the available current, though so keep that in mind if you want to add more 18v devices in the future.
yeah, the 500mA drawl is a little much, i have two power bricks though, so i can just rearrange some stuff and i think i will be fine. thanks for the reply!
hey guys, just wanted to follow up on this thread. i tried using the dunlo powerbrick but it didnt work, the barrely plugs are not the same. i believe the POG used a short barrel and the dunlop adapters are long barrel and are a little bigger in size. oh well, i have a wall wart for it so, no big deal. just thought i would let people know for the future.
