We need to see EHman’s list. Come on, EHman, you have to have an inventory list somewhere?

    1. English Muff’n – Love it!
    2. #1 Echo – Sweet delay!
    3. Late 70’s Small Stone (orange lettering like the one in my avatar)
    4. NYC Big Muff pi – w/tone bypass mod
    5. The Worm – sold
    6. Nano Muff – sold

I’ve only owned 3 EHX pedals and I had to return 1 of them.

Little Big Muff – fattest fuzz I’ll ever need.

Small Clone – lushest and thickest analog chorus I’ve ever had, never a problem and guaranteed a spot on my pedalboard forever.

Small Stone – loved the tone but it’s volume dipped at least a couple decibels when engaged and I just couldn’t have that, returned it after a few weeks.

the things we do to pay bills is pathetic ! I have added an old big box Graphic Fuzz to the DMM and the Small Stone and am on the hunt for an original Electric Mistress . Slowly will regain some of these , Microsynth in particular , and a Pulsar . I have access to many “Boutique” type pedals and they leave me flat. There is something about EHX that is unique and magical !

hmmm… roof over the head (and guitars and EHX pedals and Orange amp) ? Man , I just realized that my priorities are all screwed up ! 🙄 For what it’s worth , the collection is growing again ! Vintage Clone Theory I believe will be next !

This is why I’m glad I’m a college student. My parents and scholarships take care of all school expenses, and I can use my meager income to buy effects. My first year of college I had a pretty good job and I managed to buy an effect a week. My room was filled with patch cables, pedals, power supplies and shipping boxes. At the height of my collection, I could have filled up 3 Pedaltrain Pros. No bills=awesome

I have 4 and i can’t decide which i prefer because they all do completely different things and it would be a matter of deciding which effect i prefer as opposed to which pedal.

I guess the one i use the most is the USA Big Muff Pi. In conjunction with my amp’s overdrive it produces a smooth, wooly, thick sound which just can’t be achieved with anything else, and is unbelievably awesome for producing harmonic feedback. I initially bought it as a fuzzbox, but despite not being the kind of fuzz i was looking for it made me discover a whole new side to my guitar playing that i didn’t know i had.

The others are the Small Clone, Small Stone and Doctor Q.

A lot of you put my EHX collection to shame

I have never purchased an EHX pedal that didn’t make me want to buy another, but here goes nothing:

    Q-Tron (the big box)
    Stereo Polychorus
Bass Micro Synth (the big box)
    Big Muff (black Russian)
    Deluxe Electric Mistress
    Small Stone (black Russian)
    Bassballs (black Russian)
    LPB-1 (Nano)

I’m going to add a HOG.

    1) 70s v2 3003 [RL]amb’s head w/ FS36999s is top of the heap. Awesome tone.
    2) 70s v3 3003 Red/Black graphic w/ BC239C is my backup. Similar but a bit more aggressive sounding. But these things are so variable anyway it could just be the particular two I have and nothing to do with anything.
    3) Late 70s Small Stone … foolishly sold. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Yes it sucked tone and yes there was a volume drop but it sounded great. EDIT: Finally got a minty v2 Small Stone. Fantastic phaser.
    4) 90s DMM … sold, too many delays and I still prefer my echoplex
    5) 80s 3034 BMP w/ tone switch. Pales in comparison to either of the 3003s
    6) I was surprised by how good the Tone Wicker is.

I had a green Sovtek muff in the 90s but didn’t like it; too gnarly for me.
Bottom of the pile goes to a nano switchblade A/B box which is a piece of crap. Not properly grounded out of the box, pops on switching, then hums. Pretty useless really. I’ll fix it one of thee days…

I did have a triangle muff in the 80s but didn’t appreciate it at the time, callow youth that I was. It’s long gone.

    I really would like a 2880 or a 16 s delay though, but man they’re expensive.

EDIT: I forgot, I have an older Octave Multiplexer too (not sure, I think it’s same period as the 3034 muff, 80s?). it’s pretty good for what it is, but doesn’t get used much. I also have an old MuffFuzz, which sounds great but is really noisy, and I just got a ’76 Little Big Muff. Odd how the IC stuff sounds good too. And a 73 Little Muff Pi.
trying to fix a v1 Bad Stone too that’s ina bad way.
I had no idea I’ve had so much EHX gear.

Wow, everyone’s EHX collections make mine seem so small. I only have 3 EHX pedals so its kinda hard to pick a favorite. But my pedalboard will eventually fill up with more EHX pedals. I’ll probably get the LPB-1 soon though.
