Hello,
I’m hearing a lot of hum when I have my Op-Amp Big Muff Pi activated. The hum is also much worse if I have my EHX Tone Corsett activated before the Op Amp Big Muff Pi in my pedal chain or when using single coil pickups, but I’d expect more hum with single coils anyways.
I’m playing with a Fender Stratocaster that has Seymour Duncan SSL-1 pickups in the neck and mid positions and a Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Trembucker in the bridge. I’m noticing the hum on both my Fender Champion 100 amp and my Yamaha THR10c amp. I don’t hear any hum when using my other pedals like EHX OD Glove, EP Booster, or Ibanez TS9 pedals, with or without the Tone Corsett.
The hum seems to only occur when using the Op Amp Big Muff Pi. Any suggestions on how to clean up this hum a bit or does this pedal always produce some level of hum due to its high gain?
Thanks in advanced for any help or suggestions!
Resolved, ended up being an incorrect power source on a digitek drop that was causing the extra hum.
I was going to ask about your power supply.
