I wouldn’t ditch the SMMw/H if I were you. Memory toy perhaps but DMB and SMMH are different animals. I think having both of them will cover up pretty much every feature one can get from the delay pedals. I don’t have Hazarai, but I really want it, so I can have three delays (also DMM), that can do virtually everything. DMB can’t do long delays (does them kind of lo-fi which is absolutely great hidden feature, but it isn’t if you want them clean), doesn’t have a looper or a multi tap (frankly even the first repeat hasn’t the same volume/clarity) and doesn’t have stereo capabilities.
Don’t get me wrong it’s my favourite pedal and the best experimental delay I’ve ever come across but it depends on what you’re expecting from the delay sound – for post-rock kind of sounds, reverb sounds, for atmospheric drones, for large soundscrapes and for weird experimental stuff – DXMB is great. But for clean repeats no.
