Hi,
The sub switch on my Octave Multiplexer is a bit dodgy, by that I mean that you have to jiggle it to work. does anyone have a link to the part needed or is there some majical fix?
any help would be great
It’s a pretty standard switch. You might check the solder joints on it or spray some cleaner into it.
Wow! amazingly fast reply, sounds like a plan. what would be the best way to wire it so it’s always on the sub setting, as it occured to me I never have it not on sub
Assuming this is the XO version, you can just find the pads where the switch is soldered to the main board and solder a wire from the center pads to an outside pad. Not sure which way it needs to go but you can find it easily enough.
will give it a go, once I get it out of this damn box…
I don’t think you need to remove the board to solder jumpers so it’s always on.
