Hi all!
I just picked up a first release Octave Multiplexer which has a board dated 1975. Would this be when it was manufactured?
It has what appear to be the original three electrolytic capacitors in place. I just wondered if it’s frowned upon to replace these with modern components – and whether it affects its value – or if replacement is deemed a good thing
I am yet to dig out my capacitance meter to check if they are in spec. I’ve cleaned the potentiometers & the switches which are now working well.
Thanks!
