Hi all. Last year I bought an Oceans 12 but since the first days of use, I noticed that sometimes the pedal restarts itself. I use only the original AC adapter. I have not found a proper cause but seems to me that turning swiftly the knob to change the effect MAY trigger a series of resets. Plugging off/on the power supply can stop the glitch, but not always. May happen once in a while or continually during my exercises. I am at a loss and my fingers are pricking to hammer down the pedal. Bought by Thomann (DE), shipped to Rome (Italy), I do not intend to send it back because I fear to get a worse one. Any help?

I have a fivefold daisy chain AC adapter (9v 1A) for other 3 pedals. I hooked the fourth cable to the EHX pedal and it went smooth for two hours. Difference in voltage is only 0.6v but 1A (to share between 4 pedals when they are all ON) may be the solution. Or simply the original AC adapter (btw they are BOTH made in China!) has some problem? Never mind, I will use the other adapter and let you know, maybe this post is useful for someone else…November 18, 2021 at 9:54 am #186227EHX STAFFKeymasterThanks guidol. Power supply issues are a constant problem. Many of the daisy chain supplies are non isolated meaning the cause all sorts of digital noise or the are way under current causing the pedal to work unreliably. These cheaper supplies may work fine for low current drawing pedals like fuzz, dist or anything analog but the minute the digital pedals are added the power supply just folds under the current demand.

But it does not impress me as a reliable and sturdy thing (I think it’s not what you use in the US due to the difference in voltage, plug type, frequency). Anyway I keep on trying the new solution and hope to have ridden the glitches, which are really annoying, while the pedal is GREAT!

I have been using the daisy chain AC adaptor since November 18th and I NEVER had another restart. Usually I feed 3 pedals.
FYI the AC adaptor you shipped in Italy has this label:
Part No. EU9.60DC-200
Model YXDC-41-1004
INPUT 230V-50Hz 30mA
OUTPUT 9.6V 200mA
MADE IN CHINA
You may want to find another supplier…
